Cordell Public Schools has named Colby Love the 2024–2025 Coach of the Year, marking the first time the district has presented the award. Love, the Head Girls’ Basketball Coach and Girls’ Track Coach, was recognized for his leadership, commitment, and positive impact across multiple athletic programs.

On May 3rd, the Cordell Baptist Village was filled with music as students from the Danielle Shaw Piano Studio and the Brian Marshall Piano Studio presented a recital. The young musicians showcased their hard work and talent for an audience of residents, family, and friends.

Cordell High School senior McKinsey Gray has been named to the 2025 Oklahoma All-State Girls Soccer Team, representing the Oklahoma West region. This prestigious recognition places Gray among the state’s elite high school soccer players and marks a significant achievement for her, Coach Darrin Taylor, and the Cordell Blue Devils program.

The Dill Work and Play OHCE met March 10, 2025, at 12:00pm, in the home of Anna Pricket. The meeting began with a wonderful soup lunch. Anna furnished an OHCE Jar Soup, Cornbread, Fruit Tray, Brownies, and Mixed Nuts and Cranberries, and Wilma Gathright Blond Brownies, Anita Clayton Lemon Bars, and Sue Huddleston Mixed Nuts. To start the lunch the Lord’s Prayer was repeated by all.
