Greenwood police have issued a warrant for a man accused of shooting a woman Saturday evening.
Police Chief Terrence Craft said the incident took place around 9 p.m. at Hayes Homes on Elm Street and described it as a “domestic situation.”
He said the woman is believed to be romantically involved with the man’s wife.

The new head of school at Leflore Christian School is a longtime educator hoping to make an impact in his hometown and beyond.
Tim Burton, a 56-year-old Greenwood native, started his educational career at Cruger-Tchula Academy and then moved to Pillow Academy, where he spent 22 years in teaching, coaching and istrative positions.
